As investigations continue into the mysterious death of Timothy Adegoke, the MBA student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun state, CCTV footage obtained from the hotel has revealed that the owner of the hotel, Rahmon Adedoyin, and some other people entered into the deceased room at midnight.
According to a report by award-winning Ibadan news presenter, Hamzat Oriyomi, the CCTV revealed that the owner of the hotel, Dr. Adedoyin, his son, Raheem Adedoyin, and staff of Adedoyin, Mr. Moshood entered Timothy’s room at exactly midnight. Also, Dr. Adedoyin’s call logs showed that he made several calls to these men during the day.
He said, “the CCTV showed that after a while, Dr. Adedoyin, his son, and Moshood brought out Timothy’s body wrapped in one of the hotel’s bedspreads, covered with a carton, and tied with a rope. They put the body in Adedoyin’s car and drove away. There was no CCTV in the room, so, we don’t know what exactly happened in the room. But, that was what we got from the ones in the other part of the hotel.”
Recall that, 37-year-old Adegoke, an indigene of Eruwa in Oyo state, was said to have travelled from Abuja to write an exam at the OAU distance learning centre in Moro, Osun State, on November 5.
He was, however, declared missing two days later, before he was found dead.
