Joju Fayose, the son of former Governor Ayodele Fayose, has emerged as one of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) House of Representatives candidates in Ekiti.
Joju picked the ticket for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I during the primary held across federal constituencies in the state, on Sunday. He polled 69 votes to defeat Deji Adeosun, who polled 9 votes.
Also, the former governor’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, emerged as the PDP candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency Ii.
Olayinka garnered 54 votes to beat his opponent, Victor Babafemi, who scored 45 votes.
Similarly, a former governorship aspirant, Yinka Akerele, won the party’s ticket for Ekiti North Federal Constituency I unopposed.
For Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Babatunde Ajayi polled 63 votes to defeat Funmi Ogun, who had 33 votes.
