The Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, Hon Victor Olojede has urged Students who are Oyo State indigene to work hand in hand with the governor Seyi Makinde and also emulate his style of leadership and good governance.
Olojede made made this statement on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen during the swearing in of newly elected Executives and leaders of the Federation of Oyo State Students Union in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Olojede who praised his principal on various good deeds that has been done for Oyo students urged the students to give their support to Governor Makinde and also advise them to emulate his leadership style and good governance.
He said, “one thing is that we will urge them to get their voter’s card and vote for the right person into government and we know that governor Seyi Makinde is doing right in Oyo State and it will be a good thing to recipocrate the good deed and love he has toward us in Oyo State.
“He has consistently been paying law school bursary which is an indigenous payment to student of Oyo State in the law school. This man deserve the best. So we will advice student to work with him and emulate his style of leadership in good governance”.
Meanwhile the event which saw dignitaries such as Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Chief Bisi ILAKA, Chief Joseph Tegbe, Engr. Seun Fakorede, PS Ministry of Education and many others in attendance saw the swearing in of the National Executive Council ably led by Comrade Alarape Ibrahim and the Legislative Council chaired by Comrade Sodiq Legacy.
