Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka has congratulated Hon. Dr Maroof Adebayo Akinwande on his appointment as the Chairman, Oyo State Water Corporation. While commending the governor for the choice of Hon. Akinwande he described the appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
In congratulatory message, Ilaka who is the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Oyo Central noted that Hon. Akinwande has the requisite experience that puts him at an advantage to handle the challenges that may arise in his latest assignment.
The statement reads in part “I am very pleased to send my warmest congratulations on your appointment as the Chairman Oyo State Water Corporation, I wish you much success. You have paid your dues, you have done the grind. No one deserves this appointment more than you do.Congratulations”
Lastly, Ilaka who is the Ladilu of Oyo Kingdom, expressed his gratitude to governor Seyi Makinde for finding an Oyo son worthy of this appointments, and at the same time assuring him that Hon. Akinwande will not betray his trust in him.
