The non Indigene group in Akinyele LGA had met with the Director General, Youth Mobilisation for governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election, Hon.Dr. Salami Ibraheem Oladeji (DIKKO) to pledges their support for the re-election of the executive governor of Oyo State in the coming March 18th governorship election in the state.
The groups was led by Akinyele local government coordinator, Madam Justina Aghulor and Mr Orlando Laurence who is the youth leader of the non indigenes.
According to Madam Justina Aghulor, they are non indigenes group living around odogbo barrack and inside the barrack with their group across all the thirty-three (33) local government of the state. They are ready to come out in their large number to cast their votes for Governor Seyi Makinde.
The group said, “following an outstanding record of achievements and the execution of excellent trailblazing projects in all sectors, his declaration to run for a second term in office deserves massive votes from the good people of Oyo State either Indigenes or non Indigenes, so as to continue the re-engineering programmes for the socio-political and economic stability of the State as a pacesetter.”
According to Mr. Orlando, “The Executive Governor has made Oyo State a place where a child of nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody and indeed his re-election victory as a servant leader will surely inspire new generational leadership and bring more tremendous developmental milestones for the state and without missing words all the members of Non Indigenes Group across the state endorse Makinde for second term” Mr. Orlando Laurence stated.
The Youth Mobilisation DG, Hon. Salami Ibraheem Oladeji (DIKKO) appreciate the group for their endorsement of the People Democratic Party candidancy, Engr. Seyi Makinde and assured them of inclusive in government after the election victory.
