Atiba local government under the leadership of Hon. Kafilat Olakojo today, attended a prayer session organized in remembrance and honor of the late Alaafin, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi (III).
It’s exactly a year today, that the late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi joined his ancestors, among various rites and honour done to remember him, Atiba local government joined other Oyo councils at a prayer session to supplicate to God for his continued blessings upon the grave of the late Alaafin.
The prayer session which was held at the palace of the high chief Basorun of Oyo, had in attendance, the entire Oyo Mesi, Atiba local government Chairman Hon. Kafilat Olakojo,
Representative of the Chairman from Oyo West, Alh. Jelili Alala, the leader of the legislative arm in Atiba , Hon. Sunday Fadiran and other members of the house, supervisors, special assistants , Atiba Council Secretary, Hon. Akerele and other political functionaries of Atiba local government.
The council Chairman, Hon. Olakojo remarked that, “ the late Alaafin’s legacies will continue to live on while he’s no more with us, he was an embodiment of knowledge and epitome of peace and love. Continue to Rest on Baba”
We prayed that the Almighty Allah will forgive his shortcoming , and enlarge his grave. May HE uphold all what he left behind.
