The Open letter is Directed to Leadership of Itesiwaju Local Government
Subject: Expression of Displeasure Regarding the Exclusion of Ipapo Students from the Local Government Scholarship List for the post UTME Exam at First Technical University, Ibadan
Dear respective ITLG authorities,
We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. On behalf of students populace, we write to express our deep disappointment and concern regarding the recent scholarship selection process conducted by the Itesiwaju Local Government. It has come to our attention that none of the students from Ipapo were included in the list of LG scholarship for the school post UTME, despite the fact that our town falls under the jurisdiction of the local government.
As representatives of the student body, it is our responsibility to advocate for the rights and interests of the students we represent. We believe it is crucial to address this matter promptly and seek clarification on the apparent oversight that has resulted in the exclusion of Ipapo students. Our aim is to ensure fairness, equal opportunities, and transparency in the scholarship allocation process.
We find it deeply troubling that none of our representatives from the local government were aware of this exclusion. This raises concerns about the competence and effectiveness of our representatives in representing our interests and ensuring that our town is duly recognized in matters such as scholarships and educational opportunities.
We kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter to ascertain the reasons behind the omission of Ipapo students from the scholarship list for the post UTME exam. We expect a transparent and unbiased review of the selection process, including a detailed account of the criteria used and the individuals responsible for the evaluation. Furthermore, we urge you to take appropriate actions to rectify this situation promptly, ensuring that deserving students from Ipapo are included in any future scholarship disbursements.
In addition to the investigation, we also request a meeting with you or your designated representative to discuss this matter further and explore ways in which we can collaborate to prevent such oversights in the future. We believe that open dialogue and cooperation between the local government and the town are essential to address this issue and to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
We trust that you will give due consideration to our concerns and take prompt action to rectify this situation. We look forward to your timely response and to working together to ensure equal opportunities for all students under the jurisdiction of the Itesiwaju Local Government.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Yours faithfully,
