The immediate past Director General of Oyo State Liaison Office in Abuja and Lagos, Comrade Wale Ajani felicitates Muslims on the occasion of 2023 Hijra 1445.
This was as Ajani urged Muslims and non Muslim alike to intensify prayers for Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state to succeed more under Omititun 2.0 in the face of current national economic realities.
A statement by the former aide to Governor Makinde on Wednesday (today) indicates that Ajani also called for more prayers for the President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to be blessed with God’s wisdom needed to salvage the country from the current economic quagmire.
“We must remember that the real Hijrah today is to turn away from the evil which is forbidden from Allah and His Messenger.
“On the occasion of Hijri New Year, I extend my warmest congratulations to the Islamic faithful in Oyo State and to Muslims everywhere.
“I pray to God that the new year is filled with progress and stability, and that it brings a renewed hope and harmony within our state.
“Lets be reminded of the values of tolerance and peace that have guided the Islamic civilisation and instilled by our Prophet Muhammad.
“And most importantly, let us intensify prayers for our leaders especially our own very own father in Oyo state; His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde for him to succeed more under Omititun 2.0 because the current national economic realities are not looking so good.
“We must also endeavor to remember our president, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in our daily supplications to God for the needed wisdom to paddle the ship of this nation to a glorious destination.” Ajani said.
