A 100 years old misterious tree Igi Odan which Reportedly fell down and its branches were chopped off has returned back to it’s normal postures Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ can confirm.
The tree sources said killed four persons during the incident, other reports said no live was lost according to eyewitness in the area, though admitted that someone got injured in the process.
Same source said all affected persons are still at the hospital recuperating.
The tree which fell later resurrected and returned to its normal postures, sources said there were no signs that the tree fell at the first instance.
Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ recall that after the tree fell down, concerned residents after many attempts were able to chop the branches of the tree while the bottom was left behind, the branches were reportedly gathered in one corner.
It was a thing of surprise that the following day the tree returned back to it normal postures as if it never fell at the first place, the only difference was the fact that it’s branches were chopped off.
The Alaafin of Oyo His Imperial Majesty Oba Lamidi Adeyemi the 111, paid a visit to the venue, He plead with residents to calm the tension down, while also assuring them that the needful will be done.
