Operatives of the Amotekun Operation in Oyo state have apprehended a number of herdsmen while in transit within Ibadan, it was gathered that these herdsmen were making their way through Ibadan to lagos or ogun state.
Amotekun officers in Egbeda LGA Command narrated that On 7th February 2021 by 15:50hrs responded to a call from a member of the public traveling along Ife – Ibadan Expressway, Egbeda LGA Ibadan that a trailer carrying Fulani Herdsmen was right in front of him along the expressway.
The Egbeda Amotekun Operative team led by the Coordinator Adefare Ayobami Sakin responded and stopped the trailer for verification.
During the interrogation, the Team found 11 Arrows; A Knife and Charms in the Fulani’s possession.
All the Fulani involved has been handed over to the Police Area Command in Testing Ground for further investigation.
