The Western Nigeria Security Network, popularly known as Amotekun, has made a significant breakthrough by apprehending two individuals involved in the disturbing act of digging up a freshly buried human head from a graveyard in Saki, Oyo State.
According to reports, one of the suspects was caught red-handed on Monday evening while excavating the grave and taking the head of the deceased. The other suspect, who orchestrated the mission, has also been taken into custody.
These shocking events unfolded in Oba Abimbola layout, situated off Ogboro Road in Saki, where the perpetrators reside. The Amotekun security agency discovered the middle-aged man in possession of two human heads during the arrest, which took place yesterday afternoon.
State Commandant of Amotekun, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (rtd), confirmed the arrest of the suspects, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
“It is true. Yes, it is true,” he stated during a telephone conversation with DAILY POST.
