The Atiba local government boss, Hon. Kafilat Mojisola Olakojo mourns the eternal passing of High Chief, Alh. AbdulRasheed Sheu, the Alapinni of Oyo.
Untill his death, Chief Alapinni, was one of the foremost Oyomesi, ( a critical stakeholder and kingmaker).
Hon. Olakojo in her words expressed that, “ I’m devastated with the news of Baba’s exit, it came in as a rude shock, but we can’t just question God’s judgement because HE knows best.”
She further expressed that, “Chief Alapinni has been a potential pillar in the whole process of having a new Alaafin on the throne, he had played active roles as one of the Oyomesi and a kingmaker of Oyo Kingdom and I can’t deny the fact that Baba will be sorely missed”
“God loves him more than we do, may his return be accepted by Almighty God” she said.
“I hereby commiserate with the family he left behind, the Oyomesi, the entire Oyo township, Atiba local government in particular and Oyo state government as an entity, rest on Baba wa”
