The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the members of Atiba Women Wing have thrown their weight behind the Only Woman Aspirant of the Party in the forthcoming Local Government Election, in Person of Hon(Mrs) Mojisola Kafilat Mojisola.
They described the former Secretary, Atiba Local Government as a trusted and straightforward politician, that has passion for the welfare of the Women and the Masses.
In a release jointly signed by Alhaja Hassan Romoke and Mrs Comfort Alade, the group appealed to Governor Seyi Makinde, The Leadership of the Party in the State and Oyo Federal Constituency, to give the opportunity of the Mantle of leadership of Atiba Local Government to Tested and Trusted Woman, Hon Kafilat OLAKOJO.
According to them “If this kind of faithful and God fearing Woman is given the opportunity, First, she know where the shoe pinches and more importantly, she understands the grassroot politics better with her wider experience. Even, the women participation in Oyo Federal Constituency will high and this will boost more winning chances for us in the future elections.
