The Oyo State Chapter of the Western Nigeria Security Network, codenamed Amotekun has arrested hoodlums responsible for the death of an innocent boy in Oroki, Oyo Town. The ringleader of the thugs who had boasted that no one could accost him was arrested along with his boys after a tip from residents of the community. They have been handed over to Operation Burst.

The Oyo State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has released final batch of successful teaching applicants, insideoyo.com reports. The list which contained 299 successful applicants was released on Monday. Oyo State Police Command has arrested five suspects over the attacks on some residents of Ibadan. The arrest of the suspects made on Monday follows the attack on residents of Aremo and other communities on Sunday by some hoodlums. During the violence that ensued, some shops belonging to innocent citizens, cars and other valuable property were destroyed by the hoodlums.
