An Ally of Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde and the founder of Omi-tuntun Benedict Forum, Mr Akika has again put smile on the faces of residents of Idi-Ape and it’s Environs as he begins drilling of borehole.
An on the spot sighting by our correspondent revealed that the community yearning has been answered, it’s a huge sigh of relief to the people of Idi-Ape.
Today Splash Recall that few weeks ago Akika organised a free Medical health care mission for the residents of Lagelu, where various test were conducted and immediate medical treatment were given.
Again this Newspaper recall that just over a week ago Akika empowered the good people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency with various equipment to enable them be self independent and inturn help others in their various society.
A call put to Mr Benedict Akika by our correspondent to inquire about the ongoing Borehole project reveal further plans Akika has for the good people of his constituency. when ask about the project and his philanthropic guesture, he said “it’s normal to give back to the society you belong to, our leader and the masses Governor Seyi Makinde taught us how to give back to our community, I’m only following his steps, as individuals we should contribute in any little way we can to help out community”.
As you can see it’s dry season, my people go through hardship because of the scarcity of water, the project will be completed within one week so that my people will have access to clean water, water is life and anyone who has life has tendencies to achieve great success he concluded.
A resident of the community Mrs Kemi Adelaja could not control her emotion’s as she shear tears of joy, while appreciating the good guesture of Akika, she said we can’t thank him enough for the many things he’s been doing for us, all we can do is to continue to pray that God in his infinite Mercy’s continue to answer all his secret prayers, thank you very much she said.
