The National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the election of its new National Working Committee (NWC), has kicked off at the popular Eagle Square, Abuja with pomp and pageantry.
The convention is being attended by 3,000 delegates across the States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
Several of the state governors elected under the party along with their delegates are seated in their respective pavilions.
Amongst the governors already on ground are: Adamawa, Bauchi, Oyo, Benue, Abia, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Taraba, and the Deputy Governor of Zamfara States.
