The highly anticipated double grant empowerment programmes for petty traders, widows and less privileged as facilitated by Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban commenced earlier today Thursday 5th January 2023, at two separate locations within Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
The first programme which is focused on grant empowerment for petty traders and widows held at K.S Motel Hall, Total Garden Ibadan where selected participants had the opportunity to learn from seasoned resource persons on ways to start and sustainably run businesses.
The second programme, which is targeted at widows and less privileged held at D’Ace Hall, Yemetu Ibadan, and it also presented the same knowledge impacting avenue for selected beneficiaries.
Representatives of the Coordinating agency, Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) led by Chief Makava Daniel lauded Hon. Olaide Akinremi for being a selfless and outstanding House of Representatives member who cares for the well-being and financial success of his people.
Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North, Hon. Adedokun JP, Alhaji Taofeek Olayiwola who is the Local Government party chairman, among others present also eulogized Prince Akinremi Jagaban for his continuous and exemplary representation which they are proud of.
The programmes will continue tomorrow Friday 6th January 2023 at the respective venues, and the total of 300 selected participants will be financially empowered by Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban at the closing ceremony.
