Following a 2-days training of participants on Soap Making and preparation of Deodorants, member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has empowered all participants with needed equipment and
cash to start up small scale businesses.
At the closing ceremony which held on Friday 13th October 2023 at the Prince Akinremi Jagaban hall Samonda Ibadan, All Progressives Congress (APC) party leaders across all levels and representatives of the National Board for Technology Incubation led by the Centre Manager, Mr Ephraim Adegoke were present to encourage and admonish the participants.
Alhaji B.A.O Oladeji on behalf of all Apex Leaders of the APC in Ibadan North eulogized and applauded Hon. Olaide Akinremi for his continuous effort in making individual lives of his constituents better through facilitation of capacity building programmes which has since become his trademark.
Hon. Akeem Adebiyi, another Apex leader present, also availed the opportunity to advise all participants to make useful, the knowledge gained from the trainings, as entrepreneurship has the capacity to lead anyone to a successful life. He noted that most of the big corporations in our environment today started small.
Among other leaders present were Alhaji Akibu Alarape, Mama Bisi Olasope, Mrs Wemimo Beckley, Prince Gbadebo, Alhaja Tairat Adeyemi, Pa Fatoyinbo etc. Also present were members of the Ibadan North Local Government Executives of the APC led by the Chairman Alhaji Taofeeq Olayiwola.
The beneficiaries in general expressed gratitude to Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban for the opportunity, with assurances of making good use of the empowerment initiatives and equipment to better their individual lives. Among the equipment given to the participants are mixer, heat gun for sealing, measuring scale etc.
