In a decisive move, the Ido Local Government Legislators have unanimously voted to dismiss the Chief of Staff to the Council Chairman, Hon. Mustapha Adeyanju. The decision was made during a sitting held at the council Secretariat today. The legislators cited a lack of loyalty and substantiated guilt for the offenses brought against him as the reasons for his immediate removal from office.
During the sitting, it was also resolved that Hon. Mustapha Adeyanju should hand over all council property in his possession to a senior officer in his office. The legislators emphasized the need for someone who is loyal to the Chairman to take over the role of Chief of Staff.

Furthermore, the legislators made a decision regarding the suspended Supervisory Councilors (SC’s). They unanimously agreed to maintain the status quo and keep the SA’s suspended. The legislators expressed that the SA’s failed to dissociate themselves from engaging in political mischief, thus warranting their ongoing suspension.
This development showcases the lawmakers’ commitment to ensuring a loyal and efficient team that will work towards the betterment of the Ido Local Government and its residents.
