Following the recent inauguration of the Surulere LG chapter of the Ilaka Youth Ambassadors, Similar event took place Monday in Ajawa, the capital of Ogo-Oluwa local government area.
The youths in Ajawa and it’s environs gathered together at the hall of the Ajawa Hotels for the launching of the Ilaka Youth Ambassadors, while addressing the youth who came out en masse, Comrade Adeboye Idowu Sunday, described Chief Oyebisi Ilaka, the Senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for Oyo Central as one who has positively impacted the youths in the past and still committed to do more. Adoboye noted that Ilaka will bring about developmental projects that will not only empower the youths, but will also be of immense benefits to the people.
He added that youths in Ogo-Oluwa will come together in the coming elections to make a statement with their votes. And the statement is “Ilaka is who we want”. Adeboye described Ilaka as a people oriented Politician whose Primary objective is to seek the welfare of the people.
Prince Falana Adebowale Personal Assistant to Chief Bisi Ilaka,assured the gathering that the commitment of Ilaka to the youth is unshakable, as he as perfected plans to ensure that the needs of the youths are met. He however called on them to work assiduously for the victory of Ilaka and other PDP candidates in the coming elections.
In his remarks, Dauda Temitope Wahab DG Ilaka Youth Ambassadors, expressed satisfaction at the turnout of Youths at the event, while inaugurating the Ogo-Oluwa he asserted that Ilaka will ensure a representation that they will be proud of, he advised them to forget about the disappointment of the past,from politicians who through subterfuge have gotten their votes, but did not meet up to expectations. He noted that Ilaka will be a pleasant depature from the unfortunate norm of the past.
It will be recalled that the Ilaka Youth Ambassadors, have been inaugurated in the four local governments in Oyo, Lagelu, Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa. Akinyele, Egbeda Ona Ara and Oluyole local governments will be Launched in the coming days.
In attendance are Adewuyi Bamidele aka Energy, Moronkola Stephen and Ogun Sunday, Ilaka coordinators in Ogo Oluwa LG.also present is Prince Kayode Ogundeji, Special Assistant media to the Executive Chairman, Ogo Oluwa local government.
