The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has written to celebrate with his constituents and other Nigerians on this year’s independence day anniversary.
In his remarks where he also solicited for unity and continuous support for the President Tinubu led administration, the Ibadan North Federal Rep., noted that brighter days are ahead for the most populous black nation on earth. His statement goes thus;
“Today, Nigerians all over the world mark the independence of our dear nation, a symbolic and significant day in our history, and I join my constituents in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, as well as fellow compatriots to celebrate this important day.”
“Our country’s independence on 1st October 1960 was a watershed moment, one which paved the way for self-determination, breaking many barriers set by lack of direct control, while fostering brotherhood and togetherness in our quest to become a truly whole and great nation.”
“Since our nation’s independence, we have struggled through different phases of development, and till date, the race for a better Nigeria continues. As a people and a nation, it is important that with our actions, we continually strive to ensure our country stands on the platform where great nations stand.”
“Nigerians across all ethnic, religious, cultural and socio-political divides must understand that we only have this one country, that we are all one entity, and that the progress of our nation is dependent on all of us. This requires our utmost cooperation, sincerity and unity of purpose in jointly working to raise our nation to the pedestal of champions.”
“At this critical point in our history, we have a leadership which is deeply focused on resolving the problems challenging our growth as a nation, and I’m encouraging the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency and other Nigerians to continue on the vital path of support for the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal Government.”
“Being a kindhearted visionary and a man with proven capacity, one which he has demonstrated so far, Nigerians should be confident and hopeful of brighter and happier days with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the helms of affairs.”
“Though the journey has commenced on a tough note, it is my firm belief that with our dedication, hard work and prayers, our dear nation will weather the storm and surmount all her current challenges, rising into a greater and more prosperous future”.
