Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has constituted his campaign council ahead of the 2023 elections. The Governor is seeking his second term reelection bid. National insight news reports.
Makinde stated this on Friday while having a meeting with PDP aspirants and candidates announced reappointment of Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matter, Chief Bayo Lawal as the Director General of his 2023 campaign.
He also directed the secretary to the state government Mrs Bamiwo Adeosun to reappoint appointees who resigned and lost primary elections to their respective position
The governor also said he would soon announce replacement for his aides who won election at the primary as he outrightly announced Mr Wale Ajani to replace Busari Olayeni as the liason officer of the Oyo state in Abuja.
He added that he would also ensure fresh appointment to fix all the vacant position in the government.
In his campaign team were deputy DG which includes Dr Nureni Adeniran ( Oyo South) O O tope (Oyo Centrea )
Barr Adeniyi Farinto( Oyo North)
While Dikko will handle youth and
Hon Toyin Balogun will head the women wing .
