Residents of Beere, Labiran and it’s environs have been in heightened state of mind as a purported reunification of criminal elements within the area regroup to launch attack on residents
The area which have been known to house series of terror gangs has now become a hot spot for residents.
Hoodlums numbering over 500 are regrouping at Labiran and Beere areas of Ibadan in order to launch coordinated attacks in the city.
According to Newspeakonline, Amotekun personnel who visited the areas to forestall any possible breakdown of law and order are now retreating because they are outnumbered.
It would be recalled that a number of houses in the Labiran area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, were razed in a midnight attack on Friday. Also, lives and properties worth millions of naira were lost during the attack.
The reasons for the incessant hoodlums rampage in the area are still unknown.
