Ibadan North PDP party chairmanship candidate, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has paid a thank-you visit to the local government party executives and leaders.
You may recall that Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade was voted as the PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Ibadan North local government on the 21st of July 2024 at the local council.
Olufade’s thank-you visit was presided over by PDP Chairman in Ibadan North local government, Prince Adelore.
The exercise commenced with prayers by Alhaji Kezeem Oshoniyi, a former caretaker chairman of Aare Latosa LCDA.
After the prayer, the presiding officer, Prince Adelore, told the executives and the leaders the purpose of the visitation, which is for Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade to appreciate all the executives and leaders for their support before, during, and after the primaries, which saw him become the party chairmanship candidate.
Prince Adelore refers to the leaders and executives as the gatekeepers of the party.
In his speech, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade appreciated all the leaders and executives for honoring him with their presence at the meeting.
He also thanked the leaders and executives for their support. He said since his emergence as the Chairmanship Candidate, he hasn’t paid a thank-you visit to the leaders and the executives, which, to him, is very important to appreciate them for their support and show of love. He also said he is starting his ward to ward thank you visit very soon.
Hon. Olufade assured them that, by the Special Grace of God, he is going to try his best to carry all of them along, as his policy would be an inclusive one.
One of the leaders, Hon. Daud Ire, advised Hon. Olufade not to allow power to intoxicate him when he gets to the executive seat of Ibadan North local government chairman. According to him, whatever has a beginning will definitely have an end. He prayed for him to have a successful tenure.
The Chief of Staff of the local government, Pastor Olanrenwaju Oderajo, said God has given Hon. Olufade the opportunity to become the Chairman of Ibadan North because of the respect he has for elders and his ability to remain focused no matter the challenges.
He prays for longevity for him and sound health to pilot the affairs of Ibadan North.
Ibadan North local government party Chairman, Prince Adelore, recognized the presence of Honourable Biro and used the opportunity to advise him that 10 months is enough to write history.
Pastor Oderajo congratulates Hon. Biro for his new position as the acting chairman and also admonished him to use the opportunity given to him to be the chairman of Ibadan North Local Government for the 10 months judiciously.
Party local government vice chairman, Hon. Mustafa, popularly known as Comrade, gave kudos to Seun Olufade for thinking in the right direction by organizing a thank-you visit with the leaders and executives.
Also, Hon. Mustafa appreciated Prince Adebowale Falana for his statesmanship and brotherly love for supporting Olufade, despite the fact that he was the anointed candidate before God said it’s the turn of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade to become the chairman.
Baba Adekola Razaq 50/50 also urged everyone to give Oluwaseun Olufade maximum support for him to succeed as the chairman.
