The Executive Chairman of Oyo East local government Hon Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi has praise Governor Seyi Makinde for his pursuit to open the State economically through agribusiness with the YEAP project.
The saying ‘ don’t just give them fish but teach them how to fish’ has been the path our ‘God Sent Man’ the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde has embacked on with the Oyo State Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project at the international skill acquisition center (ISAC) Nasarawa.
The Oyo State Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project has since the commencement of the project, send over 3000 on a agribusiness incubation and apprenticeship model.
This is aim to pursue inclusive agribusiness training by empowering the youths to benefit from emerging opportunities and transformation processes across the agricultural value chain.
Youths between the ages of 25-35 years, with at least 30% female, will be provided with the appropriate agribusiness skills, mentorship, and business startup support via training and hands-on demonstrations according to the project plan.

Ojo Oluwaseun Adesoye Executive Chairman Ogo-oluwa local government who went on a visit to the international skill aquisition center (ISAC) to further encourage the youths on the benefits of the program, advise them to ensure that they don’t betray the trust and opportunity given to them by the State government.
Hon Arowosaye admonished them to use the skills Learnt in turning Oyo State to agric hub, and food basket that will feed the state and open the state economically for agricultural revolution.
He said those of you present here today at the were selected from Six Local government, which are Ibadan North East, Egbeda, Kajola, Atisbo , Ogo Oluwa, Oyo East, as the chairman of one of the local government, i thought i should come here to further encourage you all of the many opportunities attached to your training.

Hon. Ojo Oluwaseun Adesoye appreciate Gov Makinde, saying the process was deviod of any marginalization, “the uniqueness of the process is that it cut across all the 33 local government areas” he said.
While also admonishing the Youths to see this as a charllenge and call to service, as this will open the state to more economic development.
Hon. Arosad while advicing the youths, said aside the Intensive technical training in agribusiness, critical Entrepreneurship business skills and access to innovative ideas and technologies for business creation and development, they’re currently undergoing they will be provided aslo with Connections to mentors, business partners, development organisations, and other agripreneurs across Nigeria.
Adding that a Start-up grants to establish successful agribusiness enterprises is also among the many benefits they will all enjoy.
The aim of the government in the long term, is to ensure that YEAP produce a pool of well-trained entrepreneurs that respond to market demands within the State and across the sub-Saharan region of Africa, reduced youth unemployment, and enhance livelihoods in Oyo State.
