Bearly 24hours after the removal of Mr Rauf Olaniyan from office as deputy governor to the Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde, and replaced by his Kingsman Barr. Bayo Lawal.
Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ learnt that Makinde have ordered the return of the office of the deputy governor to it’s original place, which is within the same building that house the office of the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
Barr. Bayo Lawal had replaced Mr Rauf Olaniyan yesterday’s afternoon, few hours after the lawmakers removed the Igboho-born retired permanent secretary.
This newspaper recalls that days after ditching the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Raufu Olaniyan, who was removed as deputy to Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, had been asked to resume at the ministry of environment.
Months before the transfer, the office of the deputy governor had been inhabitable as a midnight rainstorm had removed some roofing sheets, rendering the office unworkable in process.
Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ learnt that Mr Rauf Olaniyan had resolved to working from his personal office along Ojoo, before he was directed to use the office at the ministry of Environment.
