Member of the House of Representatives, representing Ìbàdàn North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Musliudeen Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí popularly known as Jagaban has availed the opportunity of this year’s Maolud Nabiyy Celebration to charge Muslim faithfuls in Ìbàdàn North and beyond on the need to embrace peace, show more love and foster togetherness with other people.
He noted that the Maolud Nabiyy festival which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) remains significant for all Muslims, and must be a source of reflection for all Islamic adherents, to always remember and live by the teachings of the Holy Prophet as outlined in the Holy Quran and other Islamic texts which guides them.
“As always, we must follow the path of peace which Islam represents, and we Muslims must also ensure to show love to others irrespective of religious differences. This will assist greatly in fostering the unity which our country dearly needs at this peculiar time”, Hon. Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí stated.
“It is also important that we place humanity first in all we do, let us be our neighbour’s keeper, let us spread warmth, and let the activities of our daily lives reflect the goodness of Almighty Allah to other people”, Hon. Akínrẹ̀mí Jagaban added.
Conclusively, Hon. Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí celebrates with other Muslim faithfuls in Ìbàdàn North, Ọ̀yọ́ State and Nigeria. It is his prayers that Almighty Allah grants all Muslims the grace to celebrate many more Maolud Nabiyy festivals on earth, amen.
