The lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Kola Balogun, has sealed a deal to join the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).
TODAY SPLASH gathered that the deal was sealed on Wednesday.
Recall that Balogun, who is the younger brother of Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Lekan Balogun, had on Monday resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after Governor Seyi Makinde gave the Oyo South senatorial ticket to Mogaji Joseph Tegbe, who recently defected from the APC.
On Saturday, Hon. Muraina Ajibola, who is serving his third term in the House of Representatives, had also defected to the APC from PDP.
With the development, APC now has all three senators and 11 out of 14 House of Representatives members from Oyo State.
