Residents trooped out en masse as Omi-tuntun Benedict Forum In Conjunction With Macadof Group of Companies takes it’s free Medical Outreach to Lalupon, Eji-Oku, Offa-Igbo, Lagun Community, Opatere communities.
The free Health Outreach is a continuation of the process which is designed to reach all the eleven local government Areas in Ibadan land and by extension to other zones in the State.
Thousands of Oyo residents from across the State has since enjoy the Omi-tuntun Benedict Forum free medical outreach and empowerment schemes over the last 3 Years.
Addressing the residents the founder of Omi-tuntun Benedict Forum, Chief Benedict Akika, the Agba-Akin of Olorunda Abaa said, “Comprehensive health test will be conducted for those with diagonised health charllenges, if it requires operation i assure anyone with such to come out and speak to the health officers, we will pay for their surgeries in full, and by the special Grace of God it will be successful.
Adding that, Myself and other Persons of like minds will keep priotising the health of our people, it’s only a healthy person that can participate soundly in any activity, be it work or social functions.
A co-sponsor of the free medical outreach, and the CEO Madaof Group of Canpanies Chief Festus Alade, speaking to Newsmen at the event, said “it’s important that we identify with those at the grassroot, it’s ideal we start from grassroot to the top, Gov. Makinde is building medical centers in all wards, it’s imperative that we as citizens help in complimenting the government.
While adding that he identifies with the founder of Omi-tuntun Benedict Forum, Chief Benedict Akika because he has been doing this across many local government in the State, it’s either he’s empowering people or he’s organizing Free Medical Outreach, which are inline with the tenent of Governor Seyi Makinde’s Pillar of development.
Chief Festus Alade also assures 14 persons diagonised of various aliment that needs surgeries of support, and promise to continue reaching out to the grassroot in any little way they can.
One of the beneficiary identify as Orisaode Wahab Alabi who refuse to disclose his ailments in public, said “i was diagnosed of this sickness for some time now, but I don’t have the finance to proceed with the operation” My joy know no bounds after the convener Oloye Benedict Akika promise to foot the bills, i want to thank the organizers for the previlledge, may God continue to enrich you all.
Adiatu fasasi the mother of a 10year old, primary 4 Student, who was diagnosed of hernia, lament how she couldn’t afford the bills to carry out the surgery on her son, “When i heard their will be a free medical outreach here today, i quickly rush down to inquire if my son case can be handled, i was directed to Oloye Benedict Akika after i explained to him, he told me he will pay for my son, Afeez fasasi’s operation in full, and ensure that the process is successful.
I thank the organizers and Chief Benedict Akika in particular for showing us mercy, may Allah continue to answer all your secret prayers, she prayed.
Another Beneficiary Ahmed Bola Age 65, said she has been having difficulties with her sight, for months now i can see clearly, i came here today, after all the necessary test, I was ask to undergo some medical process, you can see me putting on my glasses, i can now see clearly.
Over 2500 from across six communities were attended to on various degrees of health charllenges, while 7 persons with hernia were promised all expense surgeries.
