The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo West local government area, has promised to deliver every polling units, in all ten wards across the local government for the party Senatorial candidate Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka.
This promised was made on Wednesday, during the courtesy visit of the Senatorial candidate to Oyo West PDP general meeting held at Bola primary school, Oyo town.
While giving the assurance, the executive Chairman of Oyo West local government, Hon. Salam Akeem Olukitibi affirmed that Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka has the desire and determination to positively transform Oyo Central Senatorial zone when he emerges as the victor in the 2023.
Hon Olukitibi noted “Ilaka is a man of integrity and lover of the masses, on behalf of all stakeholders, leaders and members of this great party, We’ll deliver every polling unit and ward for you, this is your time. Anfani for All has paid his due.”, he said further that with Ladilu, Oyo central is in safe hands” he added.
In his remarks on behalf of the Party leaders, two-term former speaker of Oyo State House of assembly, Rt. Hon. Olawale Atilola appreciated all members of the party for trooping out en mass to receive Chief Bisi Ilaka, and called on members to embark on a Mobilisation from unit to unit, ward to ward, across every nook and cranny of each local government so as to make sure that, they deliver all PDP candidates for the forthcoming general electionss, “With the good performance record of Engr Seyi Makinde, PDP will triumph” he said.
In his response, the Oyo born politician Chief Bisi Ilaka expressed his appreciation to Party members for the warm reception accorded him, while assuring them of a better and first class representation, adding that he’ll be accessible to them at all times.
Leaders at the meeting included, Alhaji Adebayo, Alh. Bashiru Adeyanju, Alh. Atilade Oseni, Alhaja Rasheedat Adekunle, Hon Muyiwa adewara, Chief Bayo Elegbede, Mr. Mukaila Oladokun.
Others are Oyo Central Women Leader, Mrs. Rafiyat Onilenla, Adeyanju Luqman.
The Senatorial candidate also paid similar visit to Oyo East local government on Monday.
