Chief Bisi Ilaka the People’s Democratic Party Senatorial aspirant for Oyo Central today got a provisional Clearance Certificate to contest the Party Senatorial primary slated for May, 2022.
Ilaka who many believe will clinch the Oyo Central Senatorial ticket, Wednesday presented himself for screening at the state party Secretariat. According to sources Ilaka who was the former Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, was impressive in his interaction with the screening panel, that he was given an all clear to contest in the party Senatorial primary in Oyo Central.
In a brief remarks with newsmen after the meeting, Ilaka noted that the screening process is the beginning of the process that will birth a new dawn in the politics of Oyo Central, while calling on his supporters not to rest in their oars, but rather continue with their rapport with delegates, because it is not over untill it is over
