Yesterday, 6th June, 2022, the entire Stakeholders of Oyo Federal Constituency, Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East & West Local Governments converged at Olugbon Hall, Oyo town to Congratulate the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde over his victory at the just concluded Gubernatorial PDP primary held at Adamashingba Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo State.
In the same vein, the Stakeholders also expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for the befitting State Burial organized in honour of our Imperial Majesty, Late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi lll. No doubt, the Governor has written his name in gold in the history of the state and we appreciate him so much for making us proud as a party with maximum respect to the Royal institutions.
The Stakeholders also used the avenue to set up the reconciliatory Elders Committee to harmonise all factions & grieviaces arised from the just concluded primaries and they urged all the candidates of the party to use the ample time before the election to reach out to other Aspirants and nooks & crannies of the Party, in order to record a resounding success at the general elections.
On a final note, they emphasized that, all hands will be put on deck & no stone will be left unturned to make sure that, all our candidates in the Constituency, the Oyo Central Senatorial, Gubernatorial & Presidential will be delivered with Landslide Victory.
In attendance at the meeting were, Chief Sunday Ogunlade represented by Hon Sunday Akindele Ojo, Alhaji Ademola Santos, Rt.Hon. Atilola Maroof, Chief Bayo Elegbede, Alhaji Siju Salaam, Alhaji Tunde Agboola, Alhaji Fatai Obabi, Elder E.O.Oluokun, Alhaji Atilade Oseni among others.
The Executive Chairmen, Hon Arowosaye Saheed, Hon (Mrs) Mojisola Kafilat Olakojo, Hon Akeem Olukitibi, while the Party Chairmen, Hon Sakiru Ojo, Hon Derinola Adedeji, Alhaji Wahab Sarafadeen, Hon Ashamu Kabiru & PDP State Excos in the Constituency, Hon James Olukunle, Bar Waheed Gbadegesin, Alhaji Muhammed Olanrewaju, Prince Mukaila Oladokun & Mrs Rafiat Onilenla, The Oyo Central Senatorial Woman Leader were also in attendance.
