PDP Inaugurates Central Campaign Committee For Adeojo Sheriff Re-Election, Appoints Alhaji Abdullahi As Campaign DG and Hon Matthew Akano as Secretary

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ido local government chapter, has officially launched the central campaign committee for the re-election campaign of Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, the council chairman. The committee’s primary objective is to mobilize support and secure votes for the party in the upcoming local government election scheduled for Saturday, April 27th, 2024, in Oyo State.

Alhaji Akinsola Ayuba, the party chairman, emphasized the significance of the committee and its members, stating that they were chosen based on their dedication and trustworthiness as PDP members. The committee’s selection was carefully made, considering their individual abilities and the collective belief that they will effectively deliver victory for the party.

During his address, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo expressed his gratitude to the committee members for accepting their roles and responsibilities. He acknowledged that accommodating all interested individuals was not feasible, but the scrutiny process ensured that the committee reflected diverse interests and groups within the party. Adeojo emphasized that the committee members should work together as a team and strive to reconcile any differences within the party, stemming from primaries or other clashes of interest, to present a united front in the elections.

The campaign council comprises various individuals, with Alhaji Abdullahi serving as the campaign Director General and Hon. Matthew Akano as the Secretary. Alhaji Ayuba assumes the role of the overall Chairman.
