Earlier this morning, Oyo State APC Party Secretariat located at Oke Ado is rumored to be occupied by officers of Nigeria Police Force.
It was gathered from some sources that; Chief Akin Oke, the Caretaker Chairman of Oyo State APC and the Chairman Advisory Council Committee, Former Gov. Alao AKala, and Sen. Teslim Folarin has been on a loggerhead over the scheduled meeting of the zoning committee constituted by Otunba Akala led advisory council.
It was learnt as well that, the disagreement between the political gladiators resulted to the presence of security officers at the party office.
The Trailblazer News further confirm the development through a brief chat with Alh. Wasiu Sadare (Party Chieftain) who clarify the development that; “the police are only at our party office for the sake of the scheduled meeting. We always invite them because of the traffic and security. But they are not timely briefed that the meeting has been postponed.”
“They left immediately they have arrived that the meeting has been postponed, and they will be communicated appropriately next.”
“Disregard the rumors of police taking over the party secretariat.” He added.
