Today marks the 2nd year anniversary of the demise of our greatly respected and highly revered leader, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, and I join his immediate family, friends, associates and indeed the good people of Oyo State in remembrance of a loving father and husband, a wonderful colleague to his peers, and an excellent administrator who was privileged to serve our dear state as a Senator and Governor in his lifetime.
Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi was a man of uncommon candor and gracefulness, one whose eloquence, warmth and charming mien endeared him to many people. He was brilliant, having clear ideas always, and he was a leader who distinguished himself with the various positive attributes he possessed, ones that are worthy of being emulated.
I remember a phenomenal and truly inspirational leader today, as his absence continues to be felt by all of us who were privileged to know him, and it is sad that we are no longer able to count on his wisdom, experience and expertise at this point.
My warm regards to the Ajimobi dynasty for holding strong since the demise of a father, husband and brother they dearly loved. It is my sincere prayers that God Almighty continues to uphold your family, and strengthen you all to consolidate on the legacies late Senator Abiola Ajimobi left behind.
We will continue to remember and celebrate the life of late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, for he was a truly great man.
May his soul continue to find eternal peace, amen.
